The 1914 and 1915 Cracker Jack sets were released during the years of the Federal League's brief existence, and so feature many players from teams in those leagues, incuding major stars such as Mordecai Brown, Joe Tinker and Eddie Plank (in the 1915 set). The 1914 set consists of 144 players, while the 1915 set expanded the size to 176 players. Most of the cards from the 1914 set were reproduced for the 1915 set, although a few inactive players were removed and some players were listed with different teams or shown with different poses. The 1915 set was available through a mail-in offer as a complete set, and it was printed on a thicker card stock than the 1914 release. As a result, it is much easier to find in high quality condition today than the 1914 version.
