Card Album for 1933 Delong (R333)

The 1933 DeLong Set (R333) was produced by the DeLong Gum Company of Boston, and was one of the first card sets relesed with bubble gum. The owner of the company, Harold DeLong, worked for the Goudey gum company prior to 1932, and it seems likely that he was involved in the initial development of the 1933 Goudey bubble gum card sets prior to his departure. The DeLong set was unable to match the appeal and distribution of the larger Goudey sets, and the company did not produce any other sets.

The set consists of twenty-four cards (including two of St. Louis players). Fifteen of these players are now in the Hall of Fame.
