Between 1905 and 1942, Charles Conlon took over 8000 photos at ballparks, documenting the National Pasttime and many of the finest players from the first half of the century. This collection was acquired by The Sporting News in 1945, and in 1991 Megacards, Inc. began issuing cards using photos from this collection. Over five years, 1,430 cards were issued in five sets. These sets include photos from the first All-Star games, tributes to some of the finest teams of that era, Hall of Famers, and, of particular interest to Cardinals fans, a tribute to 100 years of Cardinals baseball with a forty card subset (618-657) featuring some of the greatest Cardinals, among other highlights.

The cards were issued in five sets. Here are the checklists for each set.
1991 Conlon - 330 cards numbered 1-330
1992 Conlon - 330 cards numbered 331-660
1993 Conlon - 330 cards numbered 661-990
1994 Conlon - 330 cards numbered 991-1320
1995 Conlon - 110 cards numbered 1321-1430

The lists below are by year issued. In a few instances, it is not obvious exactly what team the player featured is with in the photo; in such a case I have determined that the player was pictured with the Cardinals based on the year of the photograph.

Beginning in 1993, Megacards began producing color versions of some of the regualr cards; these cards were released as promotions, inserts, or through mail in offers. In all, this series reached total 37 cards, some of which were distributed in a very limited fashion. A checklist of Cardinals and Browns is included at the end of the set listing.
