Identity not confirmed "A local player," most likely Walter Fessenden, although it could have been his brother Charles. Fessenden would become an umpire in the 1880s, with a stint in the National League in 1888 and 1889. He also managed a brief stint with Syracuse in the American Association in 1890. Currently identified as just Fessenden. Release reported June 7, 1877 per the Fall River Evening Herald (June 7, 1877 pg 3)
