One of the earliest card sets issued with gum in 1933 was from the Orbit Gum Company of Chicago. They released a 60 card set with their 1¢ packages of Orbit gum. The card front has a black and white photo of the player in front of a background done in bright red, yellow, green and black. The cards are un-numbered, and are typically listed in alphabetical order in checklists. Four cards in the set are considered harder to find than the rest (and the entire set is typically harder to find than the other three sets of that year) - Irving Hadley, George Blaeholder, Ivy Andrews and Rogers Hornsby. Three of these (not Andrews) are players from St. Louis clubs. Eleven of the sixty players are from St. Louis. The set as a whole is not as popular with collectors as the other three sets from 1933, which was the first year baseball cards were included in packages of gum.
