The 2009 Troop 98 Canoe Float was planned as a one-day affair on the Courtois River. (Bonus points if you can pronounce it correctly - Cote-a-way.) However, due to the recent rains, the water level on the Courtois was too high, so the float was shifted to the Huzzah River. The six mile trip was uneventful and relaxing. Due to the elevated water levels, it was also very quick. The entire float took just about as long as the bus ride there and back.
